finding steep gradients and dynamic levels changes throughout this site, desert INK took the opportunity to incorporate a naturalistic wadi-scape design to enhance the terrain of this unique community. The team was involved from visioning to detailed design and as the design developed, the team applied xeriscape principles and combined these with locally available materials to produce a sequential landscape experience, revealing moments of intrigue in a characteristically U.A.E. setting.
