Rochester University Campus is located in the heart of Dubai’s Silicon Oasis and is designed with sustainable principles using locally sourced materials, native trees and grasses. The landscape design focuses upon delivering a world-class University campus feel while responding to the climatic challenges and desert character of the region. With emphasis on human comfort, outdoor learning and gathering, coupled with the grand formal spaces synonymous with university campuses RIT Dubai is set to create a new benchmark for sustainable institutions regionally. The design culminates in the main university courtyard where a minimalist, yet highly functional and adaptable landscape design enables students to enjoy the experience of learning, dining and socializing outdoors.
